My Wedding

My Wedding was a Happy Day (ღ˘◡˘ღ) I am so happy to have meet and married such a wonderful man...LOVE my Hubby. A few pictures from my wedding. All pictures taken by Lyndsay

My wonderful friend Mama Gen did my hair & makeup. She also made the hair piece that I wore with my wedding dress. LOVE it

My beautiful sort of custom made dress...we had some changes done to it, made it into a sweet heart neckline and custom belt. I decided to make my own bouquet out of fabric instead of getting real flowers and also added the flowers on the flats I bought from the kids section at the Gap

Our ceremony was held at Cecil Green Park House at UBC. I made the reserved signs. And we had beautiful harp music playing. It was so scary walking down the aisle but everything went well.

The tea ceremony was also held at Cecil Green Park House. We did outfit change right after pictures with family & friends. Me in my Kua & my hubby in his suit which he just changed the handmade tie I made him from a blue one to a red one. I also made the matching pocket square and fabric boutonniere.

We took wedding pictures at the house but also went to Spanish Bank beach (which was close by). We were bless with pretty good weather for a good period of time until it started to rain but got some good shoots

We had our reception at Empire Seafood Restaurant. Our wedding colors were pink, blue and white. We had tables set up with either pink or blue. Mama Gen got us a beautiful wedding cake (excluding the custom wedding topper which we ordered online) It was yummy too

Yoyo & Cici monkey (chinese characters) were our mascots at our wedding
(●⌒∇⌒●) All the decorations made by me

There was a lot of food (typically Chinese wedding) the food was good but didn't get to eat much. Thanks to my cousin for taking the food pics

I made a short slideshow to play at the wedding. We played some games. Thanks to our future brother-in-law for MCing, he did a GREAT job keeping everyone entertained. It was fun and time went by so quickly. Thanks to our family for helping us with setting up, driving us around...making sure that everything ran smoothly. Thanks to our guest for making this day a special one and for the well wishes from those who couldn't make it. We Love you all (ღ˘◡˘ღ)
